    May 15th is Moose Hide Campaign Day. The Moose Hide Campaign is a grassroots movement of Indigenous and non-Indigenous men and boys working together to end violence towards women and children. One of the main initiatives of the movement is the annual Moose Hide Campaign Day, which brings Canadians from coast to coast together to make tangible progress on reconciliation and the creation of a country free of violence against all women and children.

    KPR celebrates EA and CYW Appreciation on May 16, "World Education Support Personnel Day". We recognize the hard work and dedication of Educational Assistants (EA) and Child and Youth Workers (CYW) and their immeasurable contributions towards student success, and creating supportive, safe and inclusive learning environments for all students.

    May 17 is International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia. As we join this worldwide celebration of gender diversity, we recognize that too many people continue to face gender-based discrimination and violence that is rooted in ignorance, fear and hate. Today and every day, we continue our work in combatting all forms of discrimination and creating safe and inclusive spaces for everyone.
