    May 10 is Jordan's Principle Day. On this day, we honour the memory of Jordan River Anderson, from Norway House Cree Nation. Jordan's Principle is a child first principle and legal rule that ensures First Nations children receive health, social and educational services and supports when they need them.     May 15th is Moose Hide Campaign Day. The Moose Hide Campaign is a grassroots movement of Indigenous and non-Indigenous men and boys working together to end violence towards women and children. One of the main initiatives of the movement is the annual Moose Hide Campaign Day, which brings Canadians from coast to coast together to make tangible progress on reconciliation and the creation of a country free of violence against all women and children.

    KPR celebrates EA and CYW Appreciation on May 16, "World Education Support Personnel Day". We recognize the hard work and dedication of Educational Assistants (EA) and Child and Youth Workers (CYW) and their immeasurable contributions towards student success, and creating supportive, safe and inclusive learning environments for all students.
